Personalized wall art with buttons

I just finished making this Initial wall art that I saw on Pinterest.  I used the initial of my first name.  I had an 8x8 canvas lying around and I decided to try out this awesome wall art.  I used scrap fabric as the background, and I used a bunch of old buttons from my grandmother to make the initial.  This took about 2 hours from start to finish, not including the breaks I took in between steps.  And it cost me nothing!   I already had all the materials.  I used a hot glue gun to secure the fabric on the canvas back, and to glue down the buttons.  It turned out very well, better than I thought it would.  The buttons are much brighter than they look in the picture; the lighting was bad when I took this.  It was very easy to make and cheap!

8-Bit Video Game Geeky Wreath

Made this out of foam when I saw ThinkGeek.com had their own version. I wanted one really bad but didn't like all of the characters they had on theirs, so I just did it myself. It's not made out of the same EVA foam they make theirs, its the way cheaper Michaels foam boards and I'm all about the cheap. ;-)
